||Autodesk Simulation Mechanical FEA|
This course will introduce you to the Finite Element Analysis features available within the Autodesk® Simulation Mechanical software. These capabilities include static stress with linear material models, and linear dynamics analyses. The course will focus exclusively on models originating from CAD solid modeling programs. You will learn the various meshing options available for creating solid and plate elements. The available load and constraint options for each of the covered analysis types will also be presented. You will learn how to evaluate the results of the analyses and how to create presentations of the results, including images, animations and HTML reports.
User Level: Intermediate
To successfully complete this course the student must have:
- 3D Parametric Modeling skills
- An understanding of FEA theory
